There are so many amazing plants and flowers in the great Mojave desert! Flowers are all shapes, sizes and colors! Some plants include the Wooly Amsonia, the Brittlebush, the Cream Cup and the Chia. You might ask, "How do these plants survive?" Well, many plants used to grow in the desert but didn't adapt to the extreme temperatures. Eventually, these plants stopped reproducing and all the existing plants died out. But, the plants that are still growing happily in the Mojave Desert adapted to the climate. Even more surprising, there are also a variety of trees that grow in the Mojave Desert, including the Joshua Tree, Pinyon Pine and the California Juniper. These trees, like all other plants, had to adapt to the climate of the Mojave Desert. Also many tree kinds could not stand the heat and lack of rain they died out like many other plants that tried to live in the Mojave Desert, but just couldn't. Now you know that even though the Mojave Desert is dry and hot, there are still plenty of plants that thrive throughout the Mojave Desert, no matter what weather they will face in the arid Mojave Desert.
